After you pressed “Ask”, you probably refreshed my page and are now waiting for my answer because you know it will come. Just like you’re waiting for things to get better in life because you know, although it seems otherwise, that it will come. I want you to think about that thing that has kept you holding on for this long. Think about that person, that fairy tale moment, that concert, that dream. And tighten your grip. Hold onto that moment or that person, hold on for all the possibilities of the future. Think of what you’ll miss if you leave. Even the little things. You wont get to hear your favourite singers new CD or read the final book in that awesome series. Hold on for that moment 10 years down the road when you can look back on your past and smile because you got through this. You CAN get through this. You may need someone to hold your hand through it, but you can do it. And admitting how you feel-as hard as it may be-is a good first step.
